SPARK stands for Students Promoting Awareness of Research Knowledge, and that’s what we do!
We’re students who are in the business of communications. Our job is to get the word out about the exciting and cutting-edge research that goes on at our university. We engage the public through written articles in magazines, radio episodes, and as part of our new video communications initiative, through our SPARK*air videos!
The SPARK writers come from all different kinds of learning backgrounds, too, and we feel that’s what makes our reporting so successful. Rather than one perspective on a given issue, we have many!
Look for our articles in our publication, Research Magazine, as well as the Guelph Mercury, Advance Magazine, Greenhouse Canada, and various agricultural magazines.

Great Work Team!
