Research conducted at the University of Guelph is aiming to develop new and innovative ways to turn soy diesel food products into biodegradable, compostable plastic bags.
This research which is led by Amar Mohanty, Plant Agriculture, hopes to design plastic bags that can be used for as long as necessary and then composted naturally.
